The Strathcona Beer Company Located on the corner of East Hastings and Campbell Street in the heart of Strathcona, Vancouver’s oldest residential neighbourhood.
Strathcona Beer Company is driven to provide a premium, fresh and quality product. We were founded by an impassioned group of friends with deep rooted connections to our neighbourhood and an appreciation for local and international beer. The brewery’s primary offerings concentrate on classic, international beer styles including a Premium Pilsner, Belgian Gold Ale, British IPA, Vienna Lager and several seasonal brews including a Saison, Dark Mild and Lemon Radler. Special cask brews and sours will be available for the summer of 2017.
Food
Leading the pizza kitchen is Chef Alex Carswell, formerly of Pizzeria Barbarella, who creates a distinctive pizza menu along with an assortment of salads and snacks.
Buying beer to take home
Patrons are able to sample beer in the tasting room, which will pour up to 12 rotating beer taps, top up their growlers at the in-house filling station or buy packaged products to go from the retail area. Four packs of cans are available (and if you’re lucky, Superflux beer can be found here although very limited!).
Tours available subject to availability, as we only visit the breweries when it’s convenient for them to have large groups.
